Indianapolis Colts owner Jim Irsay was in some hot water all week leading up to his team's 39-33 win over Peyton Manning and the Denver Broncos on Sunday night. Irsay returned to the scene of the crime after the game.
Jim Irsay responds to Colts win, critics on Twitter
The Colts owner is never at a loss for words, especially in 140 characters or less.

You see, Irsay made the following comment about his old, soon-to-be Hall of Fame quarterback, per Sports Illustrated:
"We’ve changed our model a little bit, because we wanted more than one of these," Irsay said, pointing to the ring his team earned by beating the Chicago Bears, 29-17, in Super Bowl XLI.
Shockingly, this created controversy in the 24/7 media blitz that we live in these days. Of course, Irsay tried to blame everybody short of his mother for the firestorm, but the comment was made and men from Broncos head coach John Fox and former Colts head coach Tony Dungy to ex-Colts general manager Bill Polian all voiced their displeasure with Irsay.
Then the Colts pulled off the upset over the favored Broncos in Manning’s return, leading to what can only be described in Twitterland as an Irsay:
What a Night! Great Video Tribute for #18,as our Fans cheered! Great Win as my Team gave me the VICTORIOUS Game Ball! SWEET! I was Humbled!

Not a bad tweet right here. Sure, a little self-aggrandizing, but this is Irsay after all.

No Jim, it starts with the guy making the draft picks and free agent signings (Polian) the coach with a gameplan (Dungy), the best regular-season quarterback of all-time (Manning), two Hall of Fame receivers (Reggie Wayne and Marvin Harrison) and two bookend pass rushers (Dwight Freeney and Robert Mathis). You just sign the checks and hang out in the press box all night.
So much credit 2 BEST FANS,COLTSFANS N to Peyton,MATHIS,Marvin,Reggie,Jeff Sat n now #12Luck,#13 T Y and T Dungy,Chuck P and so MANY others!

Not a bad tweet, it is obvious we are starting to make progress.

Nevermind. We were so close Jim! Why would you send this tweet? Maybe you should not have come off as an ungrateful snob towards the only reason you even sniffed a Super Bowl ring, let alone won one. Instead, let's attack the media who simply reported the words that came out of your mouth.
Prayers and much love for #87 Reggie...let's pray his right knee gets miracle news!!!!!! Love that man and pray for good news!!!!!!

This is what an owner should be tweeting about. Finally, it appears Irsay gets it.
Actually working,sorry naysayers..I don't drink...haven't in over 15 years..I know when your unhappy or jealous it's easy to b mean-spirited
— Jim Irsay (@JimIrsay) October 21, 2013
What now? In fairness, nobody should be attacking a person for a problem or issue they may have. Still, probably not a great idea to respond ... only stoking the flames.
I do pray for you unhappy,shit-slingers...who wants to live on a planet with those who don't like themselves..we want happy, kind people:)

“Shit-slingers.” My favorite part of this tweet is after all the murdering of grammar throughout the evening, we get a correctly placed hyphen! Epic. Simply epic.
