Gregory ShamusThe snow wasn’t falling like it was in Philly, but the Dolphins and Steelers still needed to manage the conditions in Pittsburgh while battling each other. Both teams played well, but ultimately the Dolphins leaned on their quarterback to handle the Steelers in a 34-28 win.

Jared WickerhamPlayoff hopes on the line for Steelers, Dolphins

Marc SerotaThe Dolphins’ offense has been less impressive. Their 21 points per game ranks 24th in the NFL. Both the running and passing games rank in the bottom half of the league in terms of production. It’s fair to say that Sunday’s bout is expected to be low scoring.
Besides the scandal and the loss, however, the Steelers have found their stride. They won three straight prior to their loss to the Ravens. It helps that the team is winning the turnover battle. The Steelers have forced eight turnovers and lost just one over the last four games. Unsurprisingly, they are outscoring opponents by an average of more than nine points per game over that stretch. The Steelers forced just six turnovers over their first eight games of the season and went 2-6.

It’s a different story at CBS Sports, where six of the eight experts went with the Steelers, including Pete Prisco and Jason La Canfora. Both Ryan Wilson and Dave Richard think the Dolphins can win it. At ESPN, it’s even more lopsided in favor of Pittsburgh. Of the 13 experts picking, 12 went with the Steelers to win.
