Le’Veon Bell injury: Steelers RB to play vs. Dolphins
The rookie running back will play on Sunday after suffering a concussion on Thanksgiving.
The rookie running back suffered a concussion on a hard hit during his Thanksgiving night game against the Baltimore Ravens, but he has cleared all concussion protocols and is healthy to play against the Dolphins. Bell has emerged as a legitimate three-down back for Pittsburgh in his first season in the NFL and will be going up against a Miami defense that has struggled significantly against the run this season.
Bell is averaging just 3.3 yards per carry this season, but has 319 yards receiving on 33 catches, becoming a serious threat out of the backfield for Ben Roethlisberger and the Steelers offense. The rookie back has 528 total yards rushing and five touchdowns in nine games this season.
