NFL free agency 2013 tracker: Antoine Winfield, Darrius Heyward-Bey making the rounds

While the free agency news is slowing down, teams have plenty of roster space to fill up. The ignings will keep coming. Additionally, there are still some very solid players available, and they're getting signed away every day. Currently, guys like Nnamdi Asomugha and Dwight Freeney highlight the free agent market.

We've been providing roundups of all the news each day and today is no different. Plenty went on in free agency Tuesday (and outside of free agency ... what the heck, Shaun Rogers?) and we'll touch up on what happened below.

The market for James Harrison just doesn't appear to be there anymore. The veteran outside linebacker has been productive in recent years, though that production is steadily declining. He was released by the Steelers after the two sides couldn't agree on a proper pay cut and now they definitely don't want to bring him back. Not good for Harrison, who still has competition on the market, like the aforementioned Freeney.

Since his release, cornerback Antoine Winfield hasn't scheduled that many visits. Winfield does have a visit scheduled, though: a Wednesday date with the Washington Redskins. That said, "at least" two other teams have given him offers, so things could happen any day now.

After being released by the Oakland Raiders, wide receiver Darrius Heyward-Bey didn't have any visits for a few days. That's probably not due to a bad market, as he's recently started visiting teams. He will visit the Detroit Lions, who could be looking for a deep threat opposite Calvin Johnson. It seems like a good fit for Heyward-Bey if he and the Lions can come together on a price.

Ahmad Bradshaw has been the top running back on the market since Steven Jackson was signed away from the St. Louis Rams, but there's been very little news on him thus far. It seems like he's still a starting-caliber running back, and both the Pittsburgh Steelers and Green Bay Packers are among teams interested in his services.

When a quarterback is generally thought of as a bust, it's customary to respond to talks of a comeback with an eye-roll. The same goes for Vince Young, but it does at least appear that he's looking good (and not like 300 pounds ... looking at you, JaMarcus Russell) and might actually find a home for the 2013 season. That would certainly be something to see.

Michael Huff is the top safety still on the market and would be a starter for a safety-needy team out there. He visited with the Dallas Cowboys on Tuesday and things went well, but he's not going to wait for the Cowboys to free up salary space to sign him. It's off to visits with the Baltimore Ravens and Green Bay Packers.

Mason Crosby was incredibly bad in 2012. He had the lowest field goal percentage of his career by far, converting on just 63.6 percent of his attempts. His previous career low was 75 percent on the dot, so that's significant. On Tuesday, the Packers signed kicker Giorgio Tavecchio to create some competition at the position. If Crosby can rebound, he should win it, but he won't be allowed to have that kind of percentage for another season.

Kelvin Hayden is returning to the Chicago Bears on a one-year deal, though the details of how much he'll be making are unavailable. Hayden was the nickel corner last season and will bring some much-needed stability for a Bears team in transition.
