2 suspects arrested in Mike Adams case

Charles LeClaire-US PRESSWIREParanay, 25, is charged with attempted homicide, aggravated assault and criminal conspiracy for an incident that left Adams with injuries that required surgery, although he is expected to make a full recovery. Means, 26, is also charged with the three crimes in addition to attempted carjacking, former convict not to possess a firearm, terroristic threats and criminal escape.
As the three assailants fled the scene, one dropped a cell phone. Paranay’s name and pictures were found on the phone leading to a warrant for his arrest. Means was arrested later in the day following a foot-chase from police.

Jason Bridge-US PRESSWIREPittsburgh head coach Mike Tomlin said Mike Adams is expected to make a full recovery and could be released from the hospital as soon as Tuesday, according to a report from Dan Gigler of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.
Adams was stabbed twice on Saturday morning during an attempted carjacking. While he suffered two stab wounds -- one in the stomach and on his left forearm -- Adams is expected to make a full recovery and could return to action in as few as six weeks. Tomlin said he visited the second-year right tackle in the hospital over the weekend.

Jason Bridge-US PRESSWIREThe second-year player was stabbed in the stomach during an attempted carjacking by three assailants, according to Aditi Kinkhabwala of NFL.com. No major organs were hit and Adams is resting in the hospital. He is expected to make a full recovery. No arrests have been made in the robbery attempt.
The Steelers drafted Adams in the second round of the 2012 NFL Draft. He started six games during his rookie year before being placed on injured reserve. Adams is expected to win the starting job at right tackle this season.

Per La Confora, Metz said the robbers were trying to steal Adams’ truck when the stabbing occurred and no vital organs were injured. According to the report, Steelers general manager Kevin Colbert visited Adams at the hospital.
