Two of three men allegedly involved in the attempted carjacking and stabbing of Pittsburgh Steelers offensive lineman Mike Adams has been arrested, as Michael C. Paranay of Hazelwood, PA was taken in to custody on Monday, according to Michael Hasch of the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review, and Dquay Means of Hazelwood, PA was arrested Monday night, according to Christine D'Antonio of CBS Pittsburgh.

Michael C. Paranay and Dquay Means were both taken in to custody on Monday and charged with crimes that left Steelers OT Mike Adams in the hospital.

Paranay, 25, is charged with attempted homicide, aggravated assault and criminal conspiracy for an incident that left Adams with injuries that required surgery, although he is expected to make a full recovery. Means, 26, is also charged with the three crimes in addition to attempted carjacking, former convict not to possess a firearm, terroristic threats and criminal escape.
As the three assailants fled the scene, one dropped a cell phone. Paranay’s name and pictures were found on the phone leading to a warrant for his arrest. Means was arrested later in the day following a foot-chase from police.
Adams, 23, was a second-round selection in the 2012 NFL Draft and made six starts for the Steelers as a rookie. Following the season, he was named the team’s Rookie of the Year by the Pittsburgh chapter of the Pro Football Writers’ Association.
