Mike Adams hospitalized, stabbed in robbery attempt
The Steelers tackle is lucky to be alive after he was attacked on Friday night.
Luckily, Adams appears to be doing well and is in good spirits, as he tweeted that he’ll be alright:

According to Adams' agent, Eric Metz, the tackle will be fine but will miss six weeks of action, according to CBS Sports' Jason La Canfora.
Per La Confora, Metz said the robbers were trying to steal Adams’ truck when the stabbing occurred and no vital organs were injured. According to the report, Steelers general manager Kevin Colbert visited Adams at the hospital.
Other details of the incident remain unknown, but Adams is expected to make a full recovery. Pittsburgh drafted Adams out of Ohio State in the second round of the 2012 NFL Draft and he immediately paid dividends. He started six games at right tackle during his rookie season.
