A previously dismissed lawsuit was refiled against New England Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez on Wednesday alleging he shot a man in the face in February, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.

Dismissed in February, a lawsuit against Aaron Hernandez for allegedly shooting a man in the face was reportedly refiled on Wednesday.

Schefter says David Jaroslawicz is representing Alexander S. Bradley, the man who says Hernandez shot him following an argument at a Miami strip club in February. The shooting resulted in Bradley losing his right eye and undergoing multiple facial reconstruction surgeries. Jaroslawicz refiled the lawsuit after it was originally dismissed in Februrary due to erroneous paperwork, according to TMZ.
Bradley was allegedly seeking more than $100,000 in damages.
This legal action comes in the same week that Hernandez’s North Attleboro, Ma. home was searched by police in possible connection to a homicide investigation. A body was found near a rental car registered under Hernandez’s name, turning out to be Odin Lloyd, 27, a man said to be an “associate” of the tight end. Hernandez is not thought to be a suspect in the investigation.
