The New Orleans Saints have made their roster cuts down to the league-maximum 75 players as of Tuesday. The team waived linebacker Eric Martin, wide receiver Tim Toone and safety Akwasi Owusu-Ansah, as noted by Canal Street Chronicles.
Saints roster cuts 2013: Will Smith, Joe Morgan and Chris Chamberlain hit IR to reach 75-man limit
The New Orleans Saints added three players to the injured reserve list on Tuesday and waived three others to reach the 75-man roster limit.

In addition to those moves, the team placed wide receiver Joe Moran and linebackers Will Smith and Chris Chamberlain on injured reserve. Victor Butler is currently on the PUP list, meaning he'll be eligible to return to the active roster after the first six weeks of the regular season.
Smith suffered a season-ending knee injury on Sunday, Morgan tore ligaments in his knee earlier in August and Chamberlain is still beat up from an injury sustained last season.
New Orleans also claimed cornerback Jumal Rolle off waivers from the Buffalo Bills and confirmed the trade to acquire outside linebacker Parys Haralson from the San Francisco 49ers in a trade.
The Saints will have trim down to 53 players on Saturday, following their fourth preseason game and in advance of the regular season the following week.
