NFL roster cuts 2013: Broncos make 2 moves to get to 75 players

The Denver Broncos made two moves on Tuesday to make it to the 75-man limit.

The Denver Broncos only needed to make two moves to get to the 75-man roster limit on Tuesday. Neither move required a player to be released, as they were both injury-related. Safety Quinton Carter is done for the season after being placed on injured reserve, while center J.D. Walton was placed on the physically unable to perform list, according to Mile High Report.

Carter missed a good portion of the 2012 season with injury and hasn’t been able to get healthy. Its just his third year in the league, so it’s tough to see, to be sure. Walton, on the other hand, is eligible to return at some point this season, after the sixth week. Walton will be eligible to return to practice the Tuesday following said sixth week.

The Broncos had waived 11 players earlier in the week, hence why the deadline was relatively quiet for them. They will have to make 22 more cuts before Saturday’s deadline to get down to the regular season limit of 53 players.
