The San Diego Chargers cut 11 players on Friday, getting them closer to the 53-man roster limit before Saturday's deadline. The team announced the moves on its website.
Chargers roster cuts: OT Max Starks leads list of 11 players released
The Chargers need to cut 11 more players to get to the roster limit.

Max Starks was the most notable name cut from the roster. Starks joined the Chargers this offseason after nine seasons with the Pittsburgh Steelers. Given how dire San Diego's offensive line situation has become, Starks' release doesn't bode well for his future with the league. He's struggled with injuries in recent years.
The Chargers will need to make 11 more cuts to reach 53 players.
Here is the full list of players cut from the team (h/t to Bolts from the Blue):
Cornelius Brown, cornerback
Sean Cattouse, safety
Phillip Dillard, linebacker
Greg Gatson, cornerback
Jerrell Harris, linebacker
William Middleton, cornerback
Dan Molls, linebacker
Randy Richards, tackle
Stephen Schilling, guard
Max Starks, tackle
Luke Tasker, wide receiver
