Watkins also reports that cornerback Orlando Scanderick received stitches in his chin after injuring himself during the celebration of a blocked kick. Neither player is expected to miss time.

Appearing on KRLD-FM in Dallas on Friday, Jones stated Waters would not start but would instead share snaps with right guard Mackenzie Bernadeau. Waters was reportedly impressive during practice this past week but is still attempting to get back into game shape after sitting out the season in 2012 and missing all of this year’s training camp.

For the weekend, Detroit at Arizona is the only game with a tighter spread. The over/under for the game is currently 46½, making the projected score roughly 24-21 or 25-22, assuming a 3-point spread.
Both teams are 1-0 against the spread this season. The Cowboys easily hit the over during their 36-31 win over the Giants. The Chiefs hit the under during their 28-2 win, though the Jaguars are largely to blame considering their offensive woes.
