Chargers offense carries team to 33-30 victory

Stephen DunnThe San Diego Chargers were underdogs for their cross-country trip to play the Philadelphia Eagles, but earned one of the most surprising wins of the week with a 33-30 victory. The win was largely due to a strong offensive performance in which the Chargers possessed the ball for more than 40 minutes.

Brace Hemmelgarn-US PRESSWIREAccording to Michael Gehlken of the San Diego Union-Times, Floyd was able to travel home to San Diego with his teammates. Chargers head coach Mike McCoy also claimed that Floyd was doing “fine” after the game. There has been no update as to whether or not the neck injury will cause Floyd to miss any playing time.

Chip Kelly’s offensive attack looks like it could be glorious for fantasy owners, if the team can maintain this pace for most of the season. The biggest opportunity of last week belonged to LeSean McCoy. The Eagles running back got numerous opportunities, and took advantage of them. His high draft stock appears justified, as long as he can stay healthy.
