An incredible display of strength on the puck for Minnesota rookie Charlie Coyle led to Zach Parise's second goal of the night, and put the wild up 4-2 over the Vancouver Canucks in the third period.
Canucks vs. Wild: Charlie Coyle’s monster shift leads to goal
Coyle sets up Parise for his second of the night.
Coyle retained control of the puck despite the best efforts of basically every Canuck on the ice, kept the puck in the offensive zone, and then made a pass through several Vancouver players that led to Parise’s goal.
Coyle is playing in his first NHL season. He was originally drafted by the San Jose Sharks and was traded along with Devin Setoguchi for Brent Burns in the 2011 off-season. He entered the night with two goals and one assist in twelve games.
