Devils vs. Flyers: Johan Hedberg gets taken out by teammates on Max Talbot goal
Adam Larsson and Andy Greene committed friendly fire.
Johan Hedberg, who is only just recently bouncing back from an awful stretch of goaltending, hasn't gotten much help from his defensemen tonight.
After a few impressive stops by the veteran Devils netminder, the Flyers finally opened the scoring when Adam Larsson and Andy Greene tried to do too much in front of the net and ended up knocking Hedberg over.
Maxime Talbot cashed in with his second goal of the year. It's the kind of play that will doom the Devils tonight, for two reasons. First, Ilya Bryzgalov looks especially sharp for the Flyers. And Philly is 9-4 this season when scoring first. The Flyers lead the Devils 1-0 after the first period in Philadelphia.
