Lightning vs. Sabres: Stamkos roughs up Patrick Kaleta

Kaleta was called for diving on the play.

Patrick Kaleta doesn't seem to have many fans these days, including Steven Stamkos. Apparently.

Kaleta laid a hit on Stamkos in the offensive zone that the Lightning star took issue with, and Stamkos followed Kaleta through the neutral zone and cross-checked him right in the back. Kaleta immediately fell to the ice hard, but got right back up to confront his attacker. Then Stamkos shoved Kaleta again and this time the Sabres' resident pest dramatically fell through the open bench door and collapsed.

Stamkos received four minutes for his actions, and Kaleta earned a nice embellishment penalty and Oscar nomination for Best Actor from the Academy.
