Leafs vs. Panthers: Mikhail Grabovski blows a tire

A breakaway for Toronto fizzled quickly.

Well, it was a nice breakaway while it lasted.

The Maple Leafs' Mikhail Grabovski was given a gift of a scoring chance when a Panthers defenseman coughed up the puck at the Toronto blueline in the first period. Grabovski grabbed the puck and took off towards the Panthers' net on what looked to be an easy breakaway chance for the veteran.

Instead, Grabovski got a little too eager. He ended up tripping himself, losing the puck and sending him sliding feebly deep into the zone.

So much for that. Luckily for Grabovski, his captain bailed him out with a goal before the first intermission.
