When Palermo visited Inter last season, the result was an eight goal thriller. Diego Milito knocked in all four nerazzurri goals, Andrea Mantovani opened the scoring for the visitors and Fabrizio Miccoli wrapped things up with a hat-trick completed five minutes before time.

The rosanero travel without last year's heroes, with Mantovani the victim of long-term injury and Miccoli sitting out a one-match ban. But they'll be riding high after last week's 3-1 derby victory over Catania, and hoping Josip Ilicic -- who bagged a brace last weekend -- might finally have more than one good match in a row. Palermo will also be looking to young Paulo Dybala, who sat out in favor of Derby hero Miccoli last time, but grabbed two against Sampdoria a few weeks back.
Inter are hoping the comforts of the San Siro ease them back into winning ways. The nerazzurri haven't won a Serie A match since being the ones to break Juventus's winning streak a month ago. Their most impressive result was a 2-2 home draw with Cagliari, and they've lost on the road to both Atalanta and Parma. That puts Inter four points out of first, even with Fiorentina for third place. A loss keeps them seven points back.
At least Andrea Stramaccioni's men are finally rising from the treatment table -- although being able to return to their favored back-three last week certainly didn't help them much. Expect Strama to shake things up a bit by starting Philippe Coutinho, but to hold things steady with Milito and Rodrigo Palacio up front.
Both sides, on the right day, have enough firepower to score four. But I wouldn’t count on the stars coming together to make both those days Sunday.
