Wilfried Zaha joins Cardiff on loan from Manchester United

The 21-year-old attacker joins the Bluebirds on loan until the rest of the season, helping reinforce the squad ahead of what looks to be a tough battle against relegation.

Cardiff City have further strengthened their squad with the addition of Wilfried Zaha on loan from Manchester United. The attacker joins former United defender Fabio, who signed a permanent deal with the Bluebirds last week, and has the potential of linking up with Kenwyne Jones, should that deal with Stoke be completed by the end of the day.

Zaha signed with United from Crystal Palace last January for £15m but stayed on to help Palace gain promotion to the Premier League. He's been in Manchester since the start of this season, but has played just twice for the club this season, both times as a substitute.

Still just 21 years of age, it’s likely Manchester United simply want Zaha to get some Premier League experience. Cardiff will be hoping his experience fighting will promotion will translate into the talent needed to keep the Bluebirds from getting relegated.
