U.S. Open 2011 Schedule For Saturday: Novak Djokovic, Caroline Wozniacki Headline Round 3 Action

The 2011 U.S. Open continues third round play on Saturday. Novak Djokovic and Caroline Wozniacki, the No. 1 seeds, are scheduled to play.

Friday’s action in the 2011 U.S. Open featured a couple of upsets. Maria Sharapova, the No. 3 seed, lost to Flavia Pennetta in three sets and was joined by No. 14 men’s seed Stanislas Wawrinka. The Swede lost to young American Donald Young. Andy Murray had a battle on his hands with Robin Haase, but survived in five sets.

Round 3 continues into Saturday with plenty of top seeds on the schedule. Here are some of the day’s notable matches:
