NFL teams released their week first practice participations of week seven as they prepare for the coming weekend’s games. Teams generally have formal practices Wednesday, Thursday and Friday and release practice participation and injury reports at the end of each session. For the participation reports, players are listed as Out (Definitely Will Not Play), Did Not Participate In Practice, Limited Participation in Practice, Full Participant In Practice.
Week 7 NFL Injury Report, Wednesday: Jahvid Best, Mike Wallace Sit Out Practice

Often times teams will sit some of their veterans on Wednesday or Thursday as a way to keep them fresh for the coming week. For most players though, sitting out Wednesday practice is never a good sign. You don’t make lineup decisions based on a Wednesday DNP, but it does give you a baseline for assessing the Thursday and Friday practice participation reports. If a player is a DNP on Wednesday and is Limited or Full Thursday and Friday you are likely looking at an active player. If a player practices Wednesday and then gets downgraded from there, it is cause for concern.
Some of the pertinent DNPs include Brandon Marshall, Jahvid Best, Mike Wallace, Percy Harvin and Sam Bradford. Many of the DNPs are based on previous injuries that are not severe enough to merit a spot on the injured reserve.
Among the limited participants, Dolphins running back Daniel Thomas is the name to watch on Thursday and Friday. Reggie Bush was a DNP and a healthy Thomas would get most of the carries on Sunday against Denver.
