San Francisco 49ers running back Frank Gore had a solid first half against the St. Louis Rams. Gore carried the ball 11 times for 51 yards and has two receptions for seven yards, but has yet to find the end zone. The 49ers trail the Rams 14-7 at the half.
Frank Gore halfway to 100 yards at halftime
San Francisco 49ers running back Frank Gore racked up 51 yards rushing in the first half as the 49ers trail the Rams 14-7.

Gore is rushing well, averaging 4.6 yards per carry and with Alex Smith done for the day after suffering a concussion, it is like San Francisco will lean heavily on their running back in the second half with Colin Kaepernick at quarterback.
Gore has been hot and cold in recent weeks. In his last four games he has rushed for over 100 yards twice, but gained less than 60 yards in the other two games. Gore has not found the end zone since the 49ers Week 5 win over the Buffalo Bills, a streak Gore and his fantasy owners hope to break in the second half against the Rams.
