Week 13 of the 2017 regular season is just about coming to a close with the Monday Night game remaining. Most fantasy football leagues will run their waiver wires late Tuesday or early Wednesday, but we are here to help you get a jump on the best options to consider.

We will be ranking the top five players likely to be available in your league at each of the four major positions. Some weeks there might not be five good options available, but we’ll scour for the best we can find. Additionally, throughout the week, we will update each of these articles as ownership percentages change and news arrives. The following ownership percentages come via CBS Sportsline entering Week 14.
Aaron Jones, Green Bay Packers (50 percent ownership)
Jamaal Williams is clearly the man in the Packers backfield right now, but he is owned in 82 percent of CBS leagues. Of course, it was Jones who sealed the deal for the Packers in overtime with a 20-yard touchdown run, his only carry of the game. With Ty Montgomery on injured reserve, expect Jones to regain at least some of the volume he owned before his own injury. This is a potential timeshare where both backs find fantasy success.
Mike Davis, Seattle Seahawks (10)
It’s Mike Davis’ turn to be the man in the Seahawks backfield, earning the start and garnering the lion’s share of carries against the Eagles. The Seahawks are desperate for a consistent back to complement Russell Wilson, and if Davis can stay healthy, he should make an impact as a runner and pass catcher.
Byron Marshall, Washington (6)
With Chris Thompson on IR, Marshall has taken over as the third-down back for Washington, and he was quite productive against the Cowboys last Thursday, catching five-of-six targets. He makes for an intriguing play in Week 14 against the Chargers, who have allowed the most receptions and third-most passing yards to running backs this season.
Barber drew the start over Jacquizz Rodgers on Sunday against the Packers and he made the most of it with 102 yards on 23 carries, as well as four catches on four targets for 41 yards. It was a major performance that makes Barber the top weapon in the running game while Doug Martin is out and a likely contributor even when Martin returns. He should be the most popular pickup of the week.
With Adrian Peterson sidelined, Williams stepped up and carried 16 times for 97 yards. We’ll have to see what Peterson’s status will be this week, but if he’s out again, Williams is clearly worth an add.
