VIDEO: Aaron Curry Fumble Return Touchdown
Oakland Raiders linebacker Aaron Curry extended his team’s lead over the Detroit Lions with a fourth quarter fumble return. Tommy Kelly sacked Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford, forcing a fumble. Curry picked up the ball and returned it six yards for the score.

The Oakland Raiders got seven points from their defense to add to their lead over the Detroit Lions on Sunday afternoon. Oakland defensive lineman Tommy Kelly sacked Detroit quarterback Matt Stafford and forced a fumble. Linebacker Aaron Curry recovered the fumble six yards for a touchdown. That gave Oakland a 27-14 lead with just over seven minutes left to play in the game.
Curry’s fumble return followed two field goals from Sebastian Janikowski, aka Seabass, including a 51-yarder, a distance which has become de rigueur for the Raiders’ kicker.

Not content to let Tim Tebow be the only quarterback with a touchdown run in the game, Tom Brady scrambled one-yard into the end zone with less than two minutes to go in the first half. Brady’s touchdown gave the Patriots a 24-16 lead over the Broncos.
For good measure, Brady added the hard spike after pushing through to the end zone. Witness the other quarterback scoring and spiking in the video below.

Denver Broncos quarterback Tim Tebow decided not to wait until the fourth quarter to get on the scoreboard this week. That is probably a smart move considering Denver is playing host to the high-scoring New England Patriots. Tebow ran the ball nine yards for a touchdown, capping off a nine-play, 80-yard drive that opened the game.

The training staff brought out an air cast and put it on Sherrod’s leg before carting him off of the field.
