Kendall Wright Injury: Titans WR Hurts Shoulder On Thursday, Will Have MRI

The Tennessee Titans witnessed a troubling scene at Thursday's offseason training activities when rookie wide receiver Kendall Wright left the practice field with a shoulder injury.

According to Terry McCormick, the Titans do not believe it to be a serious injury, but Wright will undergo an MRI to learn more.

Wright injured his shoulder going up for a pass from quarterback Jake Locker. He received attention from the trainers before being taken off the field.

A first-round pick out of Baylor, Wright figures to be a key part of a Titans offense that plans to stretch the field. He can work out of the slot or on the outside, where his explosiveness and quickness look to give him an edge over many defenders.

Receiver Kenny Britt, recovering from a torn ACL suffered last season, was on the field doing a limited amount of work as he continues to recover.

The Titans have a minicamp scheduled for next week.
