Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald is officially active Sunday against the Kansas City Chiefs. Fitzgerald was listed as questionable on Friday's injury report with a knee injury, and was called a game-time decision. The exact nature of his injury was an MCL sprain, though the Cardinals classified it as a Grade 2 sprain, which typically requires four to six weeks of recovery.

Larry Fitzgerald is recovered from his MCL sprain and will play Sunday.

Fitzgerald only missed two games, sitting out against the Seattle Seahawks in Week 12 and the Atlanta Falcons in Week 13. However, the Cardinals lost both of those games, and only managed to put up a field goal against the Seahawks. Drew Stanton hasn't been great since taking over the starting quarterback job for the injured Carson Palmer, but Fitzgerald's veteran presence could be the boost the Arizona offense needs.
Even though Fitzgerald is having a down season, he’s still been a solid receiver. He’s caught 46 passes for 658 yards and two touchdowns on the year, with some of his biggest games coming just before his injury. At 9-3, Arizona is one game up on the surging Seahawks in the NFC West.
