The Bills safety thinks it’s evidence of a conspiracy. The league (and common sense) says otherwise.
“I don’t care if I do get fined,” Williams on Monday, according to ESPN. “I speak the way I feel, and that’s the way I feel.”
Williams took to Twitter after his team's 24-17 loss to the Denver Broncos on Sunday, pointing to a moment when cameras caught line judge John Hussey and umpire Carl Paganelli bumping fists after a Broncos touchdown. Williams suggested the moment proved that officials had teamed up with the Broncos, though the league offered a much more believable interpretation after the game.
“It was an acknowledgement of good mechanics between the two officials involved in making the call,” NFL spokesman Michael Signora said.
The fist bump came after the two refs consulted to declare that Denver running back C.J. Anderson crossed the goal line for a score.

— Aaron Williams (@ajwilliams23) December 8, 2014 Bills cornerback Corey Graham said the fist bump wasn't a "good look" but acknowledged that it likely wasn't a sinister gesture.
“I saw it. I don’t think it was nothing crazy as far as ‘Happy that they scored a touchdown,’” Graham said Monday. “It was more of probably just, ‘We got that one right.’”
