Tennessee Titans quarterback Zach Mettenberger left the game against the New York Giants Sunday with a right shoulder injury and is questionable to return. Mettenberger was sacked by Devon Kennard, New York's fifth sack of the game. It's unclear if this is related to the sprained AC joint he sustained in Week 13.
That injury had him limited in practice throughout the week and had him questionable for Sunday. It had been a rough game for Mettenberger, who completed 14 of 24 passes for 125 yards with no touchdowns and an interception before going down with the injury. At the time of his injury, the Giants were up 36-7 in the fourth quarter.
Tennessee is well on its way to its 11th loss of the season. Mettenberger, a rookie, had completed 60 percent of his passes for 1,287 yards with eight touchdowns and six interceptions coming into this game. He replaced Jake Locker as the starter, and now Locker has taken over for the remainder of the game.
