Disaster would strike again in the fourth quarter for the Browns. Backed up deep in their own territory, the center snapped the ball over Weeden’s head and into the end zone. Weeden did the only thing he could do, scampering back and kicking the ball out of the back of the end zone, which resulted in an illegal kicking penalty and a safety. The Jaguars would use the resulting possession to add a field goal and go up 25-21.

Gordon tied a franchise record with 14 catches during last week’s game against the Steelers and broke Ozzie Newsome’s yardage mark, which was previously 191.

The Jaguars have been playing for pride much of the year, and have shown recently they are no longer pushovers. Despite being outscored by 182 points this season, the Jags have pulled out an upset in two of their last three games.

For the Browns, they are not much better. Cleveland’s defense is surrendering 24 points per game.
