In two years under head coach Jim Harbaugh, the San Francisco 49ers have emerged not only as one of the best teams in the NFL, but also as one of its most physical. In the 2013 SB Nation NFL writers mock draft, the 49ers have adhered to that principle, and do so again late in the second round.

Few NFL teams are as tight to the league’s salary cap as the Pittsburgh Steelers, which has made their task of re-tooling very difficult this off-season coming off a down year. Most 2013 NFL Draft projections indicate that the San Diego Chargers will target a left tackle early this year; that did not happen in our mock draft projection, but our friends at Bolts from the Blue are here to address the need in the second round.

Once upon a time, Damontre Moore was considered a lock to be a first-round pick and one of the best prospects at any position in the 2013 NFL Draft. Then he bombed his Combine workout, running 4.95 in the 40 and throwing up a meager 12 reps on the bench press. Even still, this is a player that produced 38.5 tackles for loss and 21 sacks over the last two seasons with Texas A&M. Might one bad workout land Moore across the formation from one of the NFL’s elite pass rushers?
