Bush was able to play after missing last week. He looked good early before limping off in the second half. Joe Flacco took a low hit and appeared to be favoring his knee. Both players returned to the game.

Andrew Weber-USA TODAY SportsHere’s a look at the hit on Flacco via GIFd Sports:
The hit was a nasty one, but Flacco appears to have avoided serious injury. The Ravens orthopedic doctors examined Flacco, who had ample time to recover while the Lions put together a go-ahead touchdown drive. He returned to the field the very next series, which was a crucial one for the Ravens.

Tim Fuller-USA TODAY SportsHave a look for yourself, but it’s a pretty textbook case of the armbar, which should be a prompt PI flag:
With a division title on the line, the Lions are fighting to overcome a tough Ravens team and some poor officiating. The locals at Ford Field are quite restless.

Andrew Weber-USA TODAY SportsIt was a defensive battle in the first half on Monday Night Football. The teams combined to get into the end zone just once, with three field goals giving Baltimore a 9-7 lead.
Neither offense was able to get much going during the first 30 minutes. Detroit, aided by a key penalty against Baltimore on a third down, marched 78 yards for a touchdown on its opening possession. It was just the second time the Lions came away with points on their first possession this season. Detroit, however, wasn’t able to get much going the rest of the half, gaining just 73 yards on its final four possessions.

Paul Frederiksen-US PRESSWIREThe Lions are 5-1 when Bush touches the ball 20-plus times. He works as a shifty runner and dangerous swing receiver to confuse opposing defensive lines. More importantly, he gives Stafford somewhere to throw when Johnson is covered. Bush has gained over 1,300 all-purpose yards thus far, making him an invaluable cog in the machine.
Detroit remains mediocre defensively. On paper, its front should dominate, but this hasn’t translated into pressure. Some of these struggles are attributable to injuries, but the Lions are 26th in the league in sacks, registering 27 of them.

Jeffrey G. Pittenger-USA TODAY SJohnson did agree with the statement, saying “I’m getting old,” but also said that Elam was “kind of young” and that he wouldn’t have to see him on the field unless Johnson was running past him. The Lions and Ravens meet on Monday Night Football, with both teams likely unable to afford a loss as they fight for playoff spots in their respective conferences.
