Now entering her fourth full season and with 118 Cup starts, excuses are starting to run thin for Danica Patrick's week-in and week-out lack of competitiveness. Last season, the issues centered on a lack of chemistry with since-reassigned crew chief Daniel Knost and cars that rarely showed much speed. The hiring of Billy Scott, formerly with Michael Waltrip Racing, was made to rectify the communication and performance problem. The same was said when Knost took over at the end of 2014 and yet, the results were largely similar.
