After a Cinderella-esque season where Martin Truex took a single-car Furniture Row Racing team to the brink of the championship, changes are afoot within the midsize-team based in Denver. Most significant is a manufacturer switch from Chevrolet to Toyota, which brings with it additional resources, capital and a close technical alliance with JGR. It may take some time to work out the kinks of the new arrangement, but Truex and FRR should win a race or two and make a return to the playoffs.
